Chris Larsen is dedicated to the transformative, healing power of art.

During individual and/or group sessions Chris supports her clients’ inherent capacity for art making to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Like more traditional talk therapy, work with Chris involves nurturing a professional relationship based in non-judgment and compassion. Rather than giving you specific advice, she serves as an empathic listener and observer who offers guidance in a variety of challenges. 

Through the creative process and reflecting on the artwork, clients can increase awareness of self and others, cope with symptoms, stress, and traumatic experiences while also enjoying the inherent benefits of creativity. Through both verbal and non-verbal means, art therapy at River's Edge Studio promotes self-discovery, acting as a mirror to the body, mind and spirit, increasing insight to your inner emotions, memories and experiences.

The cost is $75/hour or $280/month with once a week sessions x 4
